In 23 years. The BEST game I have ever played.

Its been 4 months since I first explored the underwater world known as "Rapture". 4 whole months. Needless to say. Its been a while. That being said. Its been too damn long. I have played through so many worlds in my gaming career. I've rescued every princess and been the saviour of many far away lands. In 23 years this has got to be my favorite adventure.

At first glance I expected to be dissapointed. Another potential "game of the year title" that would not live up to the hype. How wrong I was. However, this time around being wrong kicked sooooo much ass.

The Story / Voice acting?!? Deserving of an Oscar.

The Graphics = Exceptional. If you give it time. You will get lost in this world. If you are like me. You will some what rush it the first play though. Upon beating the game you will understand what a complex world you were "living" in. You will play it again and be even MORE amazed by what surrounds you. Everything is in its place. It is set perfectly. A masterpiece.

Gameplay = The tenth degree of awesome. Some could say it is too linear. I am not one of those people. The world and story created for you to explore was so immersive that "linear" portion of the game was all but non existent.. Once again. This is really understood and discovered after your first play though.

Sound = Perfect

In conclusion. Have you ever seen "FIGHT CLUB"? While watching it, you really had no idea what was going on. But, for some reason you were glued to the screen. You REALLY had an interest in the protagonist. You HAD to see it though to the end. THEN...MAGIC HAPPENED.

Then you watched it a second time. And this time, it was MORE enjoyable. That is THIS GAME. ONLY BETTER.

Buy this game. Play this game. Be happy. You deserve it.
