I was very cautious about buying this game when it first came out, i read several reviews about it until I finally purchased it a couple days after its release and man was that a good decision. Best game of 2007 by far, along with COD4. It was one of the most unique and thrilling video games I have ever played, thanks to many aspects. The combo of guns and plasmids really made this FPS special and unique, giving it an edge unlike any video game before it. The antagonists were perfect: duranged and twisted, and made the game much more interesting. The most exhilirating part of the game was fighting your first Big Daddy because you do NOT know what to expect. No one ever thought this monstrosity would be nearly as fast and agile as it was. When I first shot at one with my shotgun, it charged at me out of no where; I jumped so high I dropped my controller (thanks to that the Big Daddy killed me). This game was a definite breath of fresh air after a couple years of mostly sub-par games.
