What a amazing story BioShock is, nothing like i've seen before!!!

I was really reluctant to play Bioshock, creepy games like this just never done it for me in the past. After reading what seems like a hundred reviews, and the fact that Best Buy had it on sale for $39 a few weeks back, help me decide to go ahead and try it.
Somewhere I read that this was a relatively short game, but I've played the game for weeks, though I admit only a few hours here and there, I'm telling you this is not short game, this game has a massive underwater world that will take you many, many hours to complete.
Yes the game is creepy, very creepy and very strange, you start out not having a clue who you are, and where you are at, but in the course of the game you find that out and much, much more. The plot must be one of the best game plots I've ever seen, it's kinda like Lost meet Half Life 2, I guess. Lots of scary zombies and children populate this game, yes I said children, so you may want to sleep with your lights on after this game.
You find out very soon that the children aren't badies, but created victims that you can victimize even more or save them. The end will be determined by what you do to them during the game.
The World of Rapture is absolutely amazing, if it wasn't so creepy and filled with zombies and children it would be an awesome place to hang out. The World of Rapture has been transformed into a hellhole because of greed and power, and now it's time to liberate it!
The graphics and animation are all first rate, and amazing to see, the lighting, in the game maybe the best I have ever seen, makes the world that much more amazing to see. The most amazing thing, though in this game is the amazing sound. BioShock won the award for Best Sound Effects, and it deserves it. There isn't anything like it that I have ever heard. Though the city of Rapture is pretty much destroyed, there are still all the sounds that made the city so amazing in the first place. The sounds of all the venues, zombies, and the recordings that you pickup along the make this one of the most submerging game experience to date.
The weapons, ADAM and Plasmids in the game give you tons of weapons to use; you will never not have plenty of weapons to hand out punishment with.
There really only 2 complaints I have with this awesome game, the game does get bit tendencies, making you run back and forth through areas that you have been many times, before. The other thing was the ending, as amazing as it was; it wasn't as hard or as dramatic as I anticipated. You fight your way though so many levels, and rooms, and I just thought the ending was a just a bit weak, and unfulfilling. Don't get me wrong, it was very hard on the default level, but comparing the ending of this, to say, Gears of War ending, there is no comparison, this ending was cake to that ending.
There is so much to this game, I could go on for pages, but the big thing is that the story is the game, and everything else just makes this baby one of the amazing games of our times. Even with the creepy children.
