compared with the first in the series this leaps miles ahead in a lot of aspects. creature training is now much more simple so you dont have to spend hours teaching them how to behave. also they grow a lot quicker so you do not have to wait for a month or two of regular play for him to grow to full size. town management is also a lot easier and informative. although i was a bit disappointed that you were not fighting other gods like you were in the first but the expansion remedies that to an extent. the graphics on the other hand are breathtaking. really good. overall this is a worthwhile game to get.
