For a game like Black you really only need a 120-character limit to explain it. This game relies heavily on graphics, destructibility and explosions. The graphics show the full potentional of the console and make everything look pretty while failing to do much int he gameplay department whihc i'll come to later. The destructability in this game is among the best i've seen to date, pillars, walls, cars and most of the random objects can be destroyed by a simple explosion (very common thing in the game) The explosions are the obvious strong point in the game as in everything is either explosive or nearby a explosive thing. The overkill is such a thing whereas when you start playing you cant help going OMFG I SHOT UP THE CARZZZZ AND THE TRUCKZZZ AND ALL THEM PPLZZ DIED!!! but then it begins too over dramatic...

The levels i see as a whole bunch of boxes interconnected because once you enter an opening or large room the door will seal behind you, - even if it wasnt a door to begin with!!! it will disappear and you'll have to make do with the destructable cover. And the enemy will just come in waves until you kill them all then a usually destructable entrance will make itself clear to you. and after the firefight the place will be a charred mess becuase of all the explosions that take place, the places are filled with cars and barrels of oil and even if u dont mean to shoot them will go off because theres so many of them your bound to hit something because the levels are FILLED with them and they usually spark a chain reaction. This happens especially on levels with mines.

The game is setup to be like an action movie about terrorists and black ops as set up during the real action cinmatics whihc have you being interrorgated as you re-cap the missions - all 8 of them lol its a quite short game with a pathetic anti climax ending. And for a game who's title screen consists of gloryfying weapons in slow motion shots the weapons int he game are fairly similar and the only good thing is the graphics and animations of them.

The music is orchestral not that u notice over the unrealistic amount of explosions and random swearing which tries to make it seem tough. And the 3 minute un-skipable credits that rolf the first time u play attempt to give you the sense your about to play a classy epic shooter.

In all ALL FLASH NO SUBSTANCE
