Black is an all new game made by Criterion Games, the developer who made Burnout and its mind-blowing explosions. This FPS is all about your character named Keller is in chains and is arrested for doing a mission in the wrong way. Black was considered highly-anticipated mainly because its bringing HUGE explosions to first-person shooting which is highly rare nowadays. The formula is innovate but later on, the formula kinda gets boring and you will know what it will happen if you shoot the explosive. The A.I. is hard and gets even harder later on. But they spawn near you automatically as well spawn in an explosive so you will know what to do to get an easier kill. Sometimes the A.I. will run away or the explosive will not kaboom right away and theres go your chance. The cutscenes are not animated and the performances are not really good. You don't see the actor's face, you mainly see photos, the 2 men above a fan, and hear a person from a tape recorder. These cutscenes are boring, but informational as each one talks about the mission you're going to do after its done. The guns look really good, they all look black to me. and they have excellent sound and are valuable. However, you will only receive ammo, grenades, and about 2-3 weapons to choose to use in each level. The gameplay is great but does get old and repetive. The graphics are really good, especially the explosions. The sound also fits the explosions, guns, and environment. The tilt is easy and is like the tilt a FPS would be. Overall, you should either rent it. I mean, if you really was waiting a long time for this buy it. But for people who have never heard it and feel like giving it a shot, don't buy it but rent it. Its a cool game that should not be passed.
