I dont like to openly dissagree with the acclaimed review team on gamespot but i really feel that the missed the mark when rating this game. Gamespot consider this just another fps to add to the pile, now i wouldnt go as far to says its revolutionary but this games is a must have for any xbox owner. I feel black is the best first person shooter on the xbox to be released this year, infact if anybody is in the market for a good fps on the 360 i would recommed this over many 360 shooters. black takes what red faction started a few years ago and took it to a new level. ie it takes the sureal distruction in red faction and makes it more realistic, ok so the game itself isnt extremely realistic as when you shot a person holding a rocket launcher the explode regardless but i feel the distruction element itself is very realistic. if its story line your looking for well then you can keep lookin coz blacks storyline is very unclear and doesnt have a real start or ending, however this doesnt really matter as what you will enjoy about this games is fighting through war torn envoirnments with extremely realistic weapons, epic destruction and satisfying kills!
