good start but needed to go farther then it did black would have been better if it had multi-player. black is a grate looking game one of the best looking on the ps2 but but has small mistakes like the crack in the wall where it can blow up are clearly visible and that kinda interrupts the mood and flow of the game the explosions are numorious and seems to be the focus of the game but i rarely used them unless i shot it in the back ground or a grenade set them off (i like to play FPS gunz-o-blazin). the gun SFX were topnotch. some guns were overpowered for what they were all the pistols rocked the Uzi was terrible and all the other guns were some where in the middle i wish you could carry more then 2 guns but thats nothing big ammo is plentiful. the AI is good but not grate i don't know what game spot was talking about with you can shoot a guy and the one right beside him wouldn't move i never encountered that the armor on the guys is thick and i found myself hitting them multiple times in the head to drop them units with the shotguns are a pain they rush you and have very thick armor and the AI with the RPG are the worst they load fast are really accurate and you cant get out of the way in time in most cases and dealing with multiple RPG is near impossible with out the explosive barrels. you can't skip the level intro unless you have beat the mission and they are long but not unbearably long ( play Farcry instincts and that stupid cut scene that is 5min long and you can't skip and plays every time you exit a menu or game and at the beginning of the game when you load it up ). the game was hard for me but maybe not to other . replay depends i like to play levels over and over to get it all right using different guns and change it up. all this game was missing was a few like 5-10 more missions and some multi-player. game would have got a 10 if it and those last 2 and a 9 if EA had noting to do with it but thats not the case so i give it a 8 so it you can get it cheap its well worth a few bucks i hope to see a second in the franchise and that EA gets over the quantity over quality slump there in
Black was a hyped first person shooter that was suppose to deliver an explosive, destructible, chaotic shooter, which it did. The story is quite addicting. In Black you start off with a cut scene with real actors. You... Read Full Review
