Black is a very intense shooter!

User Rating: 8.5 | Black PS2
Well, ok here we go. You play the role of Sgt. Kellar, fighting your way through 8 very intense missions with explosions, (explosions.... *drools*) guns, bullets, and.... err.... medpacks, which will be a life saver! You use the R1 button to shoot, R2 to lob gernades, L1 to zoom in for a percise headshot, L2 to crouch, O to use the butt of your gun to whack people, and down on the D-pad to use med packs, which you can carry 3 of. When it comes to A.I, this game has some issues. I mean, yeah they take cover and flank, but thats VERY predictable. Also, this game lacks multi-player, which is SAD...

Now to visuals. Holy Jesus, these are some of the best graphics on PS2. The guns are really nice, polished, and metallic. The environments have some great detail, especially when it comes to shadowing. This game's name inspires the look which is dark, grim, and eerie. Thats Black for you! Now the best part of the graphics is the explosions. Holy *&%#.... The explosions are amazing. Me: *shoots RPG at gas truck, surrounded with terrorists* *Everthing goes into a firey oblivion of awesomness* Me: *drools* Overall this game is 360 quallity graphics. REALLY.

The sound is next, so listen! The sound is top-notch, especially the voice-overs. They come in clear, and are done with emotion, despite most of the voicework being radio transmissions. The guns sound fantastic, and give you a great sense of "I'm gonna &#$%&*@ oblitterate!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Which most of the guns in Black do. Now when it comes to music... Micheal Guichiacci is the John Williams of the 21st century. Hands down. His music is just, that awesome. OK well now the overall value you will have with this game.. It takes about 7 hours to complete, but this game has a decent amount of replay value, so you find yourself playing about 15 hours of this game.
