When was this made? I'm not sure if I was even born yet when this came out. I was probably about five years old when I played Blackjack, I think it was for the 2600. I'm probably about as good now as I was then. Maybe a little bit worse. I'm not sure why, it's a pretty simple, straight forward game. The goal is to come as close to 21 without going over. Sounds easy, right? Well, apparently it's complex enough that some people felt they could cash in by writing entire books about Blackjack strategy. Really though, it's almost entirely up to luck, or chance if you prefer that word. But this game is a pretty good version of the game. Then again, how can you screw up a card game? But back in the early 80's, this was all new to us, so anything that was converted into a video game was awesome. The great thing about the really simple games, like Blackjack, is they stand the test of time. It's always fun to go back and play games like this, because it doesn't get outdated. Graphics aren't a big deal for card games.
