BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger A fighting game for the ages.

A game for advanced players and not so much for just causal players. I do not recommend this game for anyone who just wants to play from time to time but a person who plays many fighters and wants a new and great experience and now with this out of the way I can get to the review.

First picking up the game I expected a simple fighter with just the capability of instant play but I was shut down on this idea. What I got was a great fighting system that once learned can be expanded on. Each of the 12 characters has their own fighting style, and depending on who you choose you will have to take some time to master that persons special ability.

Now for example we have Ragna the Bloodedge has the ability to steal life from his opponent and take it as his own, while Jin Kisaragi can freeze the opponent stopping them in their tracks.

Now the button command is very simple involving four buttons which range from weak, medium, and strong attacks and a special drive button special to the series. By chaining the buttons together in a certain order you get a chain.

There a different types of modes as in usually fighting games. Arcade, score attack, network, versus, story, training and others. The story mode is a great piece of work that is hard to explain but trust me it is a great thing to see and play. There are 12 stories so you players out there and me will have a lot of play time with this game.

In the end this is a great fighting game with an intense fighting system so check it out if you can.
