Good for fans of the Bleach anime, good graphics and fun gameplay!

Being a fan of Bleach i was very excitied when i got hold of this game. Right from the intro movie you feel like you are playing out an episode of the anime which is a big deal with games based on the animation such as Bleach, Naruto or Dragonball Z. The first major problem is the language barrier!! In with the game you get a very small english instuction manual which tells you the basics. Alot of the characters special moves can be learnt by either pausing the game and looking at the list or by looking in the japanese manual. Either way there is not much clue as to what the move is until you do it. The graphics of the moves and of the characters are true to the anime and the whole thing looks very good. Once you get to grips with the control system the battles in game seem quite short. Initially there are some difficulties but these are easily overcome with some practice.
I wont go into detail as to the various modes of play in much detail but available to you is story mode, vs cpu, vs player, and free battle.
As a fan of bleach there are some bits missing in the game, my main dissapointment is the range of starting characters. Although you do get Byakuya to begin with which suprised me slightly due to him being so powerful in the show. And no, you cant be Don Kanonji! In conclusion, this is a fun game but definatly more one for the fans of Bleach.
