A nice change of pace. . .

If you're into the realism of the ESPN or 2k football games, this might not be the game for you. This is not your average football "simulatiuon", this is no holds barred, no ref's, rip-off-his-helmet-and-beat-him-with-it football, exactly like what a BLITZ game should be and always has been. People say they are disappointed in this game - I'm disappointed that EA is charging $50 for what amounts to a roster update over their last game.
Overall I really enjoyed this game. The gameplay is fast and frantic. The story mode is nice just in the simple fact that it adds to the overall atmosphere without distracting you from why you bought the game - football. There is definitely room for improvement and I hope the developers continue to improve upon the story mode idea in their next iteration. If nothing more it's just fun to unload on an unsuspecting wide receiver or running back. When I play Madden and 2k, I'm all intense and serious about how my teams doing. With this game, I'm just looking for my next victim on the field. . .It's definitely a keeper.
