The entire year I have been waiting for a fun football game this year. And when I picked up Blitz: the League I was happily surprised. Not only does it have quickplay, it is the only football game on the market with a campaign mode. The ability of customization is great. You choose home city, team name, coaches, doctor, uniforms, a offensive rookie, a defensive veteran, and a stadium in the campaign. The upgrades that you can give your team are almost limitless. Once you have a team in campaign mode you can take it online where all the fun is it. The campaign mode is solid and sometimes hilarious, but multiplayer is the best part of blitz, you can two play on the console and online. There are some moments in blitz that never happen in madden. Such as when you break a guys fingers, tear his mcl, or plain knock him out buy kneeing him in the chest, elbowing him in the head or beating him in the head with his own helmet. The only type of person who might not enjoy it is a hardcore football sim fan, but that does'nt matter because they are playing madden right now. If you enjoy arcade over the top games like burnout, you will have a grand ole time with Blitz: the League.
