This game is by the legendary Hidetaka Miyazaki, creator of the amazing souls series. There are similarities between the souls series and bloodborne but the differences is much more obvious. There are transforming weapons, guns, health regain system, no backstabs, faster gameplay, and more. The thing that I really enjoyed is that there is a element of fear, real fear and adrenaline rush while playing this game.
Overall, this game is awesome 10/10. It is farrrrrrrrrr more difficult than ANY of the souls series. Even if it is more difficult, it is still fair. It's not the game's fault why players die. It is the players fault, by dying over and over again, the mistakes of the player is highlighted. So the next time a player encounters the same problem where he/she dies, they make a different strategy to avoid death.
In my opinion, this game is very close to reality compared to other games in the market in my experience. I don't mean that the blood, monsters, fantasy seems like reality. Let me explain, in the real world you are always put in random situations that we can't really comprehend, understand and/or find a "easy" way out. In the real world, there is no spoon feeding , a tit to suck on, and a guide that tells us what to do in order to succeed. We are left to figure this out by ourselves with our own power, regardless how many times we fail due to mistakes everyday. I feel like Bloodborne is similar to this. Players are put in a unfamiliar situation and they have to decide for themselves whether to continue on this journey or not. I love how this game gives you a sort of feeling where you feel responsible for all of your actions, mistakes and successes. I love how this game is similar to how reality works, it sucks, it's demanding, it feels unfair, but you have to get up in order to move forward.
