Working on the gimick of animal transformation, this game sold me about ten years ago. What would've never been okay this gen, this game offers extremely quick and satisfying gameplay with a very intersting story. (As most fighters these days tend to aim for.)

Only one clone fighter that actually FITS in the story perfectly and it is very easy to pick a favorite fighter for his attitude and battle skills.

The voice actors WON'T get any better in the later installments and the music is also the best the the series will ever get.

All of that balances out the barely above average gameplay and is worth a look.

The only thing truely bad about this is the stressful load times. I mean, 45 seconds could've went with figuring out how to beat Gado, which is by far one of the best characters in the fighting genre to date.

End of story.
