This is pretty much bloody roar 3 with a few additional features thrown in..............................................
If you are a fan of bloody roar 3, you may be slightly dissapointed at what this game has to offer. Bloody roar primal fury is pretty much a less violent, and more boring version of the 3rd. Despite its downs, this game does have a good side(or better side). To start, this game has AWESOME graphics! The game also has a more anime cartoon feeling to it, and the cut scenes are pretty decent despite the lack of voices. The cut scenes are simply carttoons with subtitles.This is a pretty uniqe addition to the game and there is no longer any need to worry about bad voice acting. Because this game was released on the gamecube, it was designed to be more suitable for younger gamers. Because of this, quickness of the fingers is more required than skill alone. Many combos that could easily be pulled off in the 3rd game with practice seem nearly impossible to do in primal fury.
This doesnt neccisarily make the game harder. Througout the game, a vast amount of cheat codes become unlockable by completing arcade mode with different characters. If you are tired of the same old slow gameplay, try the turbo speed code for super charged fighting. You unlock most of these cheat codes in a short amount of time, but most of them are just ways to make the game easier and more entertaining for a few more minuites.
If your curious, rent this game, beat it in a day, and then return it. Or if you are a die-hard fan, get it off the intenet for AS CHEAP AS YOU CAN.
