It may seem like a bad game, but its nowhere near the Hot Coffee mod.
The gameplay is a little awkward, especially since one of the first missions you do requires you to get a female dog horny by jumping around and doing tricks. Ok, it might be a little worse than Hot Coffee. If you've played Dave Mirra 2 then you should know what to expect. Just think of the tricks as a little easier to pull off, and there are more of them. My personal favorites being the street tricks. The entire game is basically freeplay, which is awesome. The only limit you have is your health bar. Bail too many times and you get reset. The missions are easy to perform after you know where to go, I suggest riding around the level first.
Sometimes the movement is a little awkward, the camera controls can hinder you sometimes and just when you think youve landed the perfect trick, you bail. But the gameplay overall is still good.
The graphics are the same as Dave Mirra 2. The levels are what you would expect from one of his games or what you could compare to a Tony Hawk game. Very few times the levels seemed to be flawed, but once you figure how to get past them, its all good. The character creation page is the most disturbing aspect of this entire game. Eventually you get to unlock a topless female, complete with jiggling. You can create a character with a road cone on top of his head, a gas mask, a flotation vest, etc. If youre kinky enough you could put your male character in a diaper. Lawl. Thats just wrong though. The NPCs look like they could have used a few more polys, especially since this is on the GC. I know the system can handle it.
The sound is perfect. I was introduced to TRUSTCompany because of this game. Unfortunately, I cant remember the rest of the artist list. I get confused witht he soundtrack for DM2 for some reason. The voice acting is hilarious sometimes. From a pimp that sounds (a little too much) like Chris Rock to a couple of Italian guys trying to drown some no good stinkin rat that couldnt pay up, to a couple of missionaries (which is wrong).
The replay value is slightly small. There IS a create-a-park included in this game, but it causes the game to freeze when chosen. (Aside from that, you have to use a cheatcode to unlock the option, so Im guessing it must be a part of the game that was cut out). An online option would be awesome, but Nintendo doesnt do that. I wish the Xbox version had it, Id buy it again.
This game is crude, worthless, mean-spirited, ugly, frightful, and just plain wrong. Staying away from this game will help you in more ways than you could understand. Keep this game away from children and away from people who are easily appalled. Do not buy or rent this game unless you feel the need to, or are a complete idiot who likes to disobey what people say.
I love this freakin game. lawl.
