A few minor problems steal the spotlight from Bomberman '93.

User Rating: 7.4 | Bomberman '93 TG16
Good: Classic play, wiimote capable, 5 player multiplayer is a blast
Bad: Seizure flash every few seconds, graphics are kind of fuzzy, even for a port. Bomberman '93 is the same classic you played years ago. Yeah thats about it.

So there isnt much of a story in the one player mode. Some disease is spreading or something and its up to bomberman to save the day from the anti bomberman. Along the way of saving the world, you'll go through several worlds with several levels, in which you'll find several powerups to take out several badguys with several bosses. Right.

So the single player is pretty boring on its own. But at least you dont need to plop and additional 30 bucks for a Virtual Console Controller. You can play with the wiimote, using it sideways. D pad for movement, 1 and 2 as your "A and B" buttons, and + and - being start and select. You also have the choice of a gamecube controller, or if you prefer showing off, plop 30 dollars for a virtual console controller.

So chances are you'll be steering clear of the single player mode. You'll have much more fun playing with 4 other people in an all out brawl. This is where the real fun comes and makes it worth your money. With a few add ons, it actually changes the experience quite a bit.

Now the game isn't perfect. First off, every few seconds you'll get this werid seizure flash that's kind of distracting. The background will suddenly flash black and white, then back to normal. This tends to me a minor inconveniance. Secondly, the graphics are noticeably fuzzy, even for a ported game like this. While these are minor flaws, they're still noticable and can cause a distraction.

Nothings been done to the music which by the way is still sounding fantastic. Very Catchy.

So with the 5 player multiplayer put into the game, the game is definetly worth your points, and money for that matter. The minor flaws are a slight inconveniance but nothing majorly upsetting. If you've got points to spare, and your tired of saving zelda, beating rabbids, saving fiancees and driving trucks, not to mention surgery duty, this is definetly a game worth of your purchase in the wii shop.
