At 600 points this is a fantastic purchase for multi-player action.
Like many Wii owners, we mostly enjoy playing with friends. And like many people - the frantic action of Wii games can get quite tiring at times! Bomberman '93 is the perfect remedy. Whilst catching your breath, stick on Bomberman, turn your remotes on their sides (or even plug in a GameCube controller for five-player!) and play a few 3min games over a well earned beer.
The concept and control system could not be simpler. You move around using the directional pad and in the process lay bombs to break down the walls around you, collect power-ups and eventually 'bomb' your rivals. There are a number of maps to choose from, some add some interesting gimics (such as warp holes that allow you to warp away from trouble - or into it if you prefer!) but you wouldn't buy this game for depth. This game will always be fun - and with its simplicity, will always be accessible (my friend is a complete gaming novice - but has proven to be just as capable as some of us more seasoned gamers at winning)
If you often play with friends, make this your next VC download - if you are looking for depth, or more of a one-player game, then look elsewhere.
