Easy to play, difficult to master. The new Bomberman is a 'blast' that is best played with others.

Bomberman Blast for WiiWare is a fun multiplayer romp that will allow for hours of entertainment at parties or with friends and strangers online.
Keeping with the original premise of 'drop-bombs-to-blow-up-your-opponents' in a field of obstacles, the new version of Bomberman sticks to its roots of easy-to-pick-up game play with fast, chaotic action. This time, they've amped up the ante with 8-player multi-player and online connectivity via Nintendo's free online service, not to mention new boards, new power-ups and an online leaderboard so you can compare your skills to others in the world.
The online play works relatively well with the occasional lag between battles and the occasional drop. The scoring system is fair, as well, with many opportunities to score 'points' in a game to boost your ranking.
All in all, the game is well worth the 1000 Wii Points ($10) and should give you hours of entertainment.
