The new bomberman game for wiiware is absolutely amazing, and the best wiiware game so far.

I'll start by saying that this is the first bomberman game I ever played, so I don't know much about the series. In case you didn't know, in Bomberman blast, you win by blowing up your opponents until you are the last one left. There are other modes too, like my favourite, air raid, where bombs fall from the sky and you have to dodge the explosions [lines appear on the floor to show where the explosion will hit, before the bomb blows up], and the last player left wins. There's also king, where you have to grab a crown and hold it for as long as you can to score points, and countdown, where a timer starts if you are hit by a bomb and you are out when the timer ends. There's also the option to take it all online too [with up to 3 guest players playing with you]. There is tons to do. A feature which I think is new to the series, is revenge. If you are knocked out you will be able to move around the edge of the stages and throw bombs [with no power ups] and you will get back in if you hit someone. There are also power ups littered around the stage that can make you bomberman more powerful.There is also an option to play as a mii [although you can't use it until you've played on all stages.
With this much to do you won't get bored easily. The graphics are nice too, all cute and cartoony like a lot of wii games. The controls work great:you hold the wii remote sideways for a claasic feel. There are no problems here [except for glitches and connection problems online, although it usually works OK]. This game is best with a friend so if you've got no-one to play with you'll miss out a bit. This is a great wiiware game and and is probably my favourite wiiware game I've got. This is essential.
