Hell it's the same game, whats so bad....WTF!?

Ok, played Generations, loved the hell out of it. so what went wrong with this sequel?!

Story: 0/10

Bomberman's storylines can't possibly get any lamer than this by now, but this is based off that horrible tv show. Bomberman and Max both must stop a huge planet from colliding into planet bomber (Armageddon anyone?) btw, why does a planet have thrusters!? Eh it's bomberman, nothing makes sense why should it now?

Music/sound; 5/10

Good god the VA is f***ing terrible. Goodlord the music is Hit and miss. Mujoe actually improved this time around. Max is the best out of all VA's. The boss music actually sounds like boss music, not like that crap in generation

Characters: 3/10

Oddly enough, the most useless character in the game (Max) grows on you. I think it's because his voice isn't retarded like B-man's is. Personalities of most characters are overly joyful and kiddy, makes you love Max more. Bomberman had the right attitude in Generation and they managed to F it up in this game. Thanx for trying Majesco. And yes I understand this is based off the anime, but they were trying to make it seem like a sequel since 4kids didn't grace us with obvious trash yet. Thank god they still dont. So yeah im counting this against them because Bman sounds like a fat ass corn dog.

Gameplay: 7/10

Dont get me wrong, the game has it's flaws but it's practically like Generation in everyway imaginable, cept it's slower paced. There's plenty of lag when it comes to kicking a picking up a bomb. Im not kidding. You have to wait at least 1 second to pick up a damn bomb. In Gen, you can pick it up right away. Kicking bombs feels worse too. One of the best strategies (constantly kicking a bomb into an enemy to stun it multiple times) is GONE because of the one second animation lag that the geniuses at Hudson decided to add. And since the bombs blow up faster, kicking multiple times is demolished. Max (though as kick ass as he is) has no purpose cept blowing up doors....and saving you from Bman's horrible voice. He can't use Charabom but can blow up doors with a flash attack that charges at a snail's pace. That crap s slow as hell but useful for some things....to add insult to injury, it doesn't deal enough damage to enemies or bosses.

Speaking of those little critters people love to claim came during the Super Bomberman games (they came FIRST ON THE GBC IN BOMBERMAN MAX YOU IDIOTS!) and as pokemon rip offs (honestly, people hate them because they seem so much like pokemon despite how unfun they really are), you dont battle them, you actually use them to get through levels, adding more insult to Max's uselessness. When you figure it all out, Max has no point besides blowing up walls to give Bman more access to different bomb powers (i say this because you'ed have to be a damn fool to use Max in a boss fight). Bosses are cheap as hell, but THANK GOD you dont have to use big bombs just to kill the bastards in this game! Honestly, the amount of time it took for the damn things to blow up in the first game was a nightmare! Combined with the growing of the bombs too?

Anywho, onto the multiplayer which people claim that Bman is all about (which is false considering the amount of bomberman games that focus more on single player). It's no different than anything else....besides the fact that characters can use super attacks....most of which suck so hard they aren't worth mentioning. 4 modes and only one of them are enjoyable, but hey there's fun to be had with all of them at least.

Replay: 4/10

Secret boss, hidden characters, and secret top down levels.....are all kinda pointless. But hey, it's bomberman, you can't stop playing multiplayer.

Overall

what people say is true. If you have Generation, stick with it. But if you love anime (you stupid idiot), go ahead and blow your brains out.
