You don't even need live to enjoy bomberman! However, it is fun to pair up and frag complete strangers. This game has all the qualities that has made bomberman a hit since the NES. Unique bomb power ups, different costumes, and 3 different types of multi-player modes. Pick bombs up and hurl them at each other, kick them across the screen, even lay them down and set them off down the road with a remote detonator. Lets not forget the power downs though. Your fire size can be decreased, your controls can become backwards, or even catch a sickness forbidding you to lay bombs down. Even if you die, there is a mode that allows you to attack from the grave. Awesome I know! Bomberman took a slight dive with the release of Act Zero, but let us try to forget that horrible mistake. Hudson decided, " Just keep it simple. " That was really all that is needed to make this frag fest a hit. Bomberman Live can be downloaded on the Xbox Marketplace for 800G. So about $10. There are a few expansions to it as well, giving you a few more maps. Definitely a great party game for anyone of any age.
