If they did this with more games there'd be more sales

After my friends continuously badgered me to get the game I finally caved into peer pressure and spent the last of my Christmas money. I'd heard good things about the game before but everyone just seemed to want to play the multiplayer with me. When I got home I popped in the disk, and since none of my online friends were on I decided to try the Single Player function first. After watching the first cut scene I was intrigued. When I met Clap Trap I felt the urge to shoot him in the face. And after a couple of missions in Fyrestone I was hooked. Watching my first Psycho's head explode into a thousand little pieces gave me chills of excitement. This game is possibly the corner stone for a line up of future games to come which combine two or more styles of games. I can't wait to see an MMOFPSRPG or some manner of combination that would be a break through in gaming. Some of the things I noticed about the game however was that two things were taken from James Cameron's AVATAR. The name of the planet, and the sequence when you die in Borderlands is the same as when the main character in AVATAR goes into his other body. This however does not take away from the game play in any way other then possibly a couple of fans getting pissed off. The graphics are great, the game play is better, and the storyline... could use some tweaking. After going through the first play through my brain hurt a little, and I kept wanting to know some background about the various characters, which is the only reason I don't give this game a perfect score.
