Borderlands is an awsome co-op game. You get to spend your time killing a diverse set of enemies in a variety of ways. The character skills ad flavor to the game as do the multitude of weapons available to use. If you have a friend or two who wants to play with you, than you need this game. It's not really "hardcore." It's more for gamers who want to have fun. The DLC runs you 10$ each and 30$ total, but they really ad on to the game. It was an overall great experience for me and I hope it is for you as well. Also, one of the DLCs increased the level cap, so it will force you to play more, which I view as a good thing. There are a few bad things about this game. Loading can get irritating, and graphics can occasionally get rough edges, but those are minor things that don't stay for long. And I personally suggest you don't play split-screen. When you go into the menu, the other character lags horribly. But other than that, this game is really worth your money, especially now that the price has gone down.
