Sure to please fans of Borderlands, and a lot of fun with friends.
There are around five new maps for exploration, each one quite gigantic. But with no access to vehicles you'll to traverse them on foot.
Although Gearbox didn't add enough missions to exploit the maps to the fullest, but hitting those maps with a bunch of friends for a few hours is great fun just shooting and looting, as they're packed with lots of enemies and a ridiculous amount of weapon chests.
Seriously, you can plow at these maps for hours and still find more weapon chests to the satisfaction of the entire party. And if you finished all the missions from the Secret Armory DLC all enemies and weapon chests' level will be 60 to 61.
There are a few issues with the new chapter though; I already mentioned the lack of missions in this episode, if you just stick to the missions you'll be missing out on much of the new areas and hidden goodies.
Also of note is the easy difficulty of the enemies this time around, the uprising claptraps are quite hostile but they're still a far cry from the Crimson Lance which you had to face in the previous DLC, the Hyperion corporation soldiers are tough but come in few numbers.
The bosses are OK but you'll have to fight a few of them more than once which might annoy some people, and for many people (like me) who played Borederlands and it's consequent DLCs until they collected an impressive arsenal of death inflicting gear the new missions might seem a bit too easy at times.
So my obvious advice for Borderlands fans is not miss this DLC, and my not so obvious advice (actually it's still pretty obvious) is to ignore the missions, grab a few friends and just shoot and loot the hours away.
And hey! You get to shoot some claptraps! I know I wanted to shoot a few of those!
