This game has the FPS facade but underneath it all is a weird combination of shooter RPG much like Fallout 3.

The first thing I gotta say about this game is that the game-play kinda reminds me of Fallout 3 in some ways with its combination of FPS RPG style of game-play. The graphics for the game are not my cup of tea for a shooting type game even if it is an RPG (of which some RPG's look good in cell shaded graphics). The game-play or rather the style in which you take out enemies is languid in pace which kind of disrupts the idea that your weapons are guns in that it takes way too many shots to take down the enemies sometimes and some of the weapons just fire way too slow to give it a feeling that the game is a shooter. The fun part of the game comes in being able to party with others in co-op to beat the game but while this is somewhat fun, it doesn't exactly make up for the lack of depth in terms of getting into the story or plot. The sandbox style of gaming this game mirrors is much like Fallout 3 but it seems to lack that certain something that I would attribute to a good RPG. I think I would call it the ability to create a sense of wonder in seeing the story unfold while playing along with a feeling of connection with the characters. I guess it all depends upon the person's tastes since for me if you like Fallout 3 you might enjoy this but if you prefer more story or character driven games this one might turn you off.
