The Good: Graphics are detailed, Multiplayer is fun, Enemies are hard, Weapons are creative, Pandora Is A world Full Of Secrets ----------------------------The Bad: Loading Screens Take Away From The Experience, Characters lack Depth, Feels too Story Driven ------------------------------------------------------------------=============================================================Borderlands Is a great game if you're an RPG Fanatic Or New To The Genre... Being My second RPG Game next to Fallout 3 - It had alot to live up to - Borderlands may not be as good - but it certainly is different in an amazing way... Firstly: While the graphics are cartoony - they are still fantastic and better than quite a few games out there... It offer Multiplayer - which I haven't seen in an RPG yet! (Then again I haven't played many) Sure... Demon souls also does this - but with four players armed with a battalion of guns and wide-spaced areas - what's there not to love? Weapons can be combined - a shotgun flamethrower? a sniper, plasma shooter? The possibilities are endless! and Pandora is an intresting place too - if you dig deep enough... Yet a few things stop Borderlands reaching RPG dominance... Including the fact that every time you enter a new area - a loading screen pops up... and while you don't have to wait too long... It still takes away from the feel of the game - Characters basically lack a bit of a back - story early in the game you're unsure of the objective or point of borderlands... And while linear it just feels too 'you must do this - or this!' While highly enjoyable and one of the best RPG Games around - Borderlands lacks a little of the genre's style - now cheap - i suggest Borderlands to early RPG fans as more hardcore players may find it a little un-enjoyable and pointless...
