To date, this game has come as close as possible, in my opinion, to bridging the gap between the first person shooter and role playing genres.Being fans of both I have long desired a hybrid that satisfies on both sides, and though I cant say I've played everything out there this is the best effort I have seen in this respect so far.
Although it lacks in character customization and other aspects of RPG's the leveling and loot gathering are awesome.The world often leaves something to be desired but there is no shortage of things to keep you busy, and most of the objectives and story are satisfying.
With loads of interesting weapons and tight gameplay mechanics this game will not leave you disappointed (unless you are expecting too much I guess)!
Seriously, this game offers a truly unique experience, and when you throw in the large amount of reasonably priced downloadable content you have yourself a superb package from which you can extract many many hours of enjoyment!
