From a good idea to a total letdown.
A bad excuse for a expansion that kind of ruined the whole borderlands series for me. Waves of units that are to easy to kill gets repetitive and the game has no new content.
Graphics: 7.0/10.
The graphics of the game is just fine with that comic-style feel to it. There is not anything new compared to the original game thought, oh yes, the character Moxxi with her big boobs... and some party lights. nothing more.
Sound: 7.0/10.
Same for the sound, there is nothing new... only Moxxis repetitive taunts, that are mastered in a good way so you can hear her nevertheless.
Game play: 2.5/10.
There is really nothing new, as said above. The only thing in this expansion is that you fight of waves of enemies, which could be fun if it wasn't so repetitive... it's a try, but a failure.
Idea: 8.0/10.
It's a nice idea though, just not executed well. If there would be new monsters along the way, or maybe some logic to the different waves in comparison to the locations, or just a bit more difference to the arenas... it could have worked. I like the different attributes that the players and enemies get, but it's made way to simple.
