Borderlands can be most commonly referred to as the game with the most guns of any game. Borderlands is a first person shooter with roleplaying elements incorporated into it. Developed by Gearbox it was first revealed in 2007 in Game informer magazine. Borderlands combines the elements of a first person shooter with the levelling system of a roleplaying game that creates a unique gaming experience. Borderlands has up to 30 hours of the main storyline but numerous more with the substantial amount of side quests available not including the 4 expansions for the game.

Borderlands is fun by yourself, but shooting midget psychos with a shotgun is better as a team, with up to 4 people aloud in a game at the same time it ads another aspect of teamwork as the amount of players in the game increase so does the difficulty of the enemies which then gives your team better loot. Borderlands also holds a new art style for computer games, with its cartoon like feel it makes for a different and exciting experience for the player.

Borderlands has 4 playable characters, the siren, berserker, hunter and soldier, each class with different abilities and specialise in different areas of combat, this means you can play how you want to play and with a weapon type levelling system you can get better at what you love to use.

Borderlands is a different game that will definitely provide a new experience for gamers which makes it extremely enjoyable to play, and with the release of the sequel on the 18th of September it will captivate gamers once again, with even more guns than the first.
