playing only the singel player myself.. i have to say that borderlands is a VERY solid FPS. but thats about it.

i have to say that when i first heard about the game i was sure it was going to be a fallout 3 clone. and i say that as a good thing. i loved fallout 3.

game play,- as good as it gets for fast paced FPS. the weapons are varied and fun to use, not to mantion there are ALOT of them, guns, pistols, rockets shotguns, and some alien cannon thingi makes game play fun and keeps combat from getting repetetive.
the game looks... different. somone here said it looks like a gorilaz video, and that's pretty much the best way to put it. you do get used to it after a while and start to enjoy the style of game world.
cant speak much for the RPG part of the game since i only played as the soldier and did not use (and not going to) the multiplay featere at all.

if your looking for a fast pace ,good fun , play for 2 hours without noticing game, then borderlands is the game for you. it dosent do anything new, but its still great game to pass the time until mass effect 2.
