Amazingly well done, polished, and creative puzzler. More than what you might expect from a PSN title.

At first glance Braid is a clever puzzler. Braid uses various methods of controlling time to solve a range of uniquely designed puzzles. Each puzzle is solved by the collecting of a puzzle piece. The game progresses in a non linear fashion through several worlds. Each world has its own theme, including most noticeably, a new time mechanic. You gain new and unique powers to control time with. These powers are necessary to solve the puzzles of that world. At the surface of Braid this is what the game is, an enjoyable puzzler.

Yet there is so much more to the game. While you will get drawn into Braid by its wonderfully developed artwork, music, and puzzles, you will most definitely be captured by its depth waiting just beneath the surface. Behind every element of the story is a hidden message. Behind each change in theme is meaning. Virtually everything in the world of Braid tells a story and does so beautifully.

All in all, Braid is more of an experience than just a game. One you will long to share with others once you have completed it. There are few games out today that provide such a deep and rich experience in such a simple package.
