A lot of fun, beautiful graphics plus a kitten girl!

I didn’t really know about Brave Story until I stumbled across it on Gamestop. I thought it looked pretty cool so I got it and I’m really glad I did. I think the graphics are gorgeous and I really like the story line. Some people may complain about too many random battles, but I think the battles can be a lot of fun. You can hold down X and get through it or you can use Bravura and Unity attacks which are really cool to use. Plus, if your BP runs out, you can still hit away with normal attacks and the BP will start to refill itself so you’re always kicking butt. Plus, because of all the battles, you can level up really quickly. Some things I don’t really like are KO’s. When you die you don’t really have any way to resurrect another character till you reach a healing place or an inn. (I’m not sure if you get some spell that revives characters, maybe you do later but in the beginning you don’t.) But on the bright side, there are tons of healing places so it’s not too hard. The text isn’t really a big deal either. I don’t think having to read takes away from the game. Voice acting would’ve been nice but it’s not a big deal. So if you don’t like having to read everything (well, there are some voice spots) then maybe you won’t like the game too much.
Overall I’m really enjoying the game. I like the characters and the story. If RPGs aren’t your thing, then maybe you won’t like it but everyone who likes RPGs will hopefully enjoy it.
