This Game was TOo bad ass!
The game in the biggining was alright and eazy to get by. But after u pass a giant dragon with a sword or spear jammed in its gut and into the wall, the game gets bad ass and hard to comprehind. First u get the dragons spirit in u. Then u and Bosh a blond haired boy (u name ur character) are ontop of a train goin back to base. Then u get attacked by a girl in a blue jump suit (ike she just came from the pool and wants some, oh and i'd give it to her if she was real) riding a beast on the train tracks beside u and starts firing. Bosh controls a turret atop the train. Then the blue suit girl who i cant remember her name jumps infront of ur train and fires a rocket launcher. the train aviusly gets hit and u slip off nd are holding for dear life reaching for Bosh's hand but u still fall to the ground which is way down there. The whole thing about the game the objectives is to reach the sky because through out the whole game your underground and the air is pulluted and u meet this little girl with red angel wings and u have to protect her from this group that is strong as UUUF and you fight each one one on one at the end.
You need to get nina to some fresh air before she dies and u team up with that girl in the blue suit and her name is LIN. You partner up with her cuz she is out to protect Nina and since thats what u wanna do tthe two of you work together to protect Nina from that group that wants her.
You later get a timer on the top right of the screen that INDOcates the time before the dragon takes over your hole body and kills you. Then on it feels like your in one of those ships in every metroid game where it's about to explode. The way u realize the dragon ability is too bad ass its the best cut cene ive seen! You then have the ability to tranform into a dragon in battle but it wasts your timer quicker and every attack on you is ZERO so u cant lose as the dragon. You gotta beat the game before the time runs out, this is when the game gets real complicated and difficult.
You grow level with exp and XP. exp is for all that where alive when the enemy was eleminated XP is left over or Xtra Points that are stored and u can go to them and use um on your self. The thing about XP is well....when ur whole party dies three options apear, Load, Restart with some raising but lost items (that options a total rip off u keep life alittle exp and loose all your good items ALL OF THEM! never choose this option!) and finally go back to the start of the game (which ive done multiple times) and keep all your weopons equiped and skills learned oh and all the XP you saved from your last game. You go back to level one tho. And when u restart you see more of the story depending on howfar u go, like u see how Bosh was raised as a child oh and its good heh heh and how nina was made.
Well tthe story is bad ass and graphic scenes like nudity, u getting betrayed and stabbed on your knee and THROAT aand u pulling it out oh ISh fufin hardcore imagry! Bad ass boss battles sometime impossible without transforming in to the dragon. But if youve restarted to game a # of times like me you accumilate a great amout of XP that u can use it on your self and not have as much of a problem. The ending is when everything gets way too hard you've gotta go take out all the members of the group that wanna get Nina but there's to paths to witch group of them you want to take out. One road leads to a very hard enemy then to the eazyer group of bosses, the other leadsa to an eazy enemy and to very hard nearly impossible Bosses. then when your done with the group of enemies in the path you chose you fight the first person to have been possesd by the dragon and some how over came it and he IS THE HARDEST BASTURD TO FIGHT EVEN HARDER THEN THE FINAL BOSS!
Well its one of my best ps2 games ive ever played I know u should play it!
