I got this game two Marchs ago after seeing it in a bargin bin and remember renting it years earlier and enjoying it. While it was the game I remembered it lacked a whole lot of everything. While the story line is very slow and the charecters have a moderate amount of deph and consideration the game just can't hold up to new RPGs or hold my attention for that matter. I finally got sick and tired of looking at it in my now playing list so I decided to sit myself down and beat the game. Countless head aches later I had acheived the goal. While the game itself is an alright standard RPG the tedious battling and consistant use of having to become a Hybrid to beat any of the bosses starts to wear thin. The story is slow but starts to pick up at the end and really with a bit better useage of story telling the story would be really good. But alas everything is told a little to slow and a little spaced out with all the constant battling. Charecters were well conceived in my belief but unfortunitly without the use of good dialog some of them just come off as very bland. The hunting for the dragons was a fun mini-quest but it was very time consuming and tireing. The graphics were well stylized and the fearie village was a fun addition. All in all if your looking for an old school RPG find something else, but for the gamer whos played them all give it a shot.
