Breath of fire IV is one of the best RPG that I have play. The battle system is excellent. Here the Dragon Transformation don't work like BOF 3. Here the dragons works like summons. But to have them you have to find the gem stones. During battle you can alternate the active party members and let them rest for a while .In addition to magic, characters can learn another set of abilities that are named skills. Thats good because to learn them the enemy must have the skill first,then during battle you have to defend yourself to learn the skill. Other option to learn them is that here Capcom introduce people that are call Masters and they can teach you the skills by completing some tasks .And there are a lot of skills in this game. If you want to have them all you can take a little bit more of 25 hours of game play. The characters design are good but don't expect that the game have great graphics. The colors don't have much bright.The music is excellent, ambient like Oriental music .You can play with the bad guy named Fou Lu. That's a great option because you can see the story from both sides,although the bad guy don't have party members. The option to go fishing its here. And you have to collect a big list of fishes. If you want to finish this game with all the extras it will take you a little bit more of 40 hours .This is a great game and a must have for every RPG gamer... I recommend it.
