First lets get one thing straight, this is one of the most team dependent games i have ever played in my life. If you dont like depending on teammates or being responsible for them, go play Call of Duty or something. Now lets start with the newer elements of the game. The parkour element, or SMART button, works very well. There's nothing like the feeling of jumping off a ledge and shooting someones head off, then climbing back up it. Also something i noticed, there isn't any fall damage. I don't mind it much, but some other players might find it annoying. And one of the biggest problems i had with the SMART system, is if you approach an object from an odd angle, sometimes it will do nothing. You'll just run into it and look stupid. And as for the customization, i find it pretty cool. There is some really neat appearance choices that most people will appreciate. And the weapon customization is very well done as well. There are expanded mags, silencers, sights and scopes, etc. The best part is all of them have a different effect on the qualities of the weapon. For example, different scopes improve accuracy, and at the same time have different affects such as weapon handling, draw speed, player movement speed, etc. But the online play is where this game really shines. If you have a functioning team, the game can be incredibly fun and addicting. But if you have a dysfunctional team where everyone wants to be a lone-wolf, you will get slaughtered, and it will be brutal and annoying. Also, sometimes there are huge frame rate drops. Usually you can play through them, but they are frequent and frustrating. Also, my copy has a bug, so i have no sound at all when i play. I expect to be able to fix that when i re-install it, but its something to be aware of. The weapons are also fun to use. For some reason they just feel perfect. They have a perfect amount of recoil, and the reload speeds are exactly what you would expect. Although i cant comment on the sound of the guns for obvious reasons, im pretty sure they sound just like they feel. Great. All in all this is a fun game that is a few patches away from being pure gold. I give it an 8.5 out of 10.
