I found brink very difficult at first, but only for the controls and different feel than other shooters may have. The progression is well placed keeping you playing for many levels at a time! The customization options are some of the best I have seen. Though only the "Body Type" choice has any actual game play affect, the outfits are rich, well designed and fun to collect. There are two factions and each have their own sets of customization options. Now back to the body types (In order of unlock) medium, heavy and light. You start at medium, the most basic and in ways the easiest body type to use for beginners. Average agility and HP. At level 5 Heavy provides a more "tanky" feel and though slow it may carry all weapons and take the maximum amount of damage. (Light is the opposite.) Now, the classes in brink (Soldier, Medic, Operative and Engineer) are all very unique and incredibly well balanced. I do have one major critic. The online play can be very laggy at times but this problem can be fixed within patches. The AI is a slight problem because of its "on, off" difficulty. For the first half you may tear through them. The next they turn into killing machines. This may also be fixed and you also get a fun adrenaline rushing challenge to improve your skills.But now this game could get a solid perfect score.IF the online mode was improved by adding some new modes like Team Death Macth or some thing.It could also have a great campagin with it was longer with more story.But the story could be fixed with some add-ons if they make any.But over all here are the ratings...

SOUND: Original gun sounds and other effects make an amazing touch to the game.

GAMEPLAY: The gunfights are fast paced and closer range than some other shooters, but this provides and exciting new feel to the genre.

AI: Though jerky in it's function, it is not impossible to fix and good practice for some players.

MULTIPLAYER: Laggy, but when clear the game doubles its intensity greatly.

CAMPAIGN: This component was slightly dry but necessary for the games foundation.

OVERALL: Perfect for some gamer's but other's will always criticize. Brink is one of the best shooters in a long time. In years time it could be the future to all shooters, if given
