I'll start with the graphics. They are not great. Your own team's faces look alright but everything else is not. Everything green just kinda runs into each other and looks blurry. Graphics are not the games best feature. The sound is good. You can hear all the bullets and rockets flying everywhere and the tanks driving around and the Germans speaking German. Most of the time sound is how you figure out where the enemies are.

But the gameplay is D-Day's best feature. Of course the story is WWII and different tasks are supposed to be completed on each board like get to a certain spot or defend yourself against some Germans. You are usually accompanied by at least one other person who you can give orders to. They usually follow orders pretty well, although somtimes they can mess up an order and screw something up. The enemies are smart and will take cover, run up and hit you, and throw grenades. The shooting is good and challenging and you can play with another person or just have a quick mission or go through the story. All in all this is a decent, solid shooter for the psp.
