A worthy successor to the best WWII FPS
-better presentation
-more dialogue/battle chatter and more interesting characters
-bigger, more detailed levels and less linear than RTH30
-most importantly, better AI. They retreat if they spot you flanking.
-new really fun skirmish mode
THE BAD:
-occasional framerate drop, audio stutter
-still a guessing game when aiming grenades
-can't throw grenades down tanks anymore
Overall, a substantial improvement over RTH30. The stellar and intense gameplay is enhanced by the bigger levels and a more intelligent enemy. In RTH30, after I got the hang of flanking, I felt unchallenged since the enemy would basicly just sit on their a** waiting for me to flank them. That is no more in EiB. Well done Gearbox.
