Good squad based action. A bit to hard for me. Fustrating at times.

Brothers In Arms. Well what can I say. The first one was ok. IT was good portrayal and with fun but simplistic game play. Well the new game Brothers In Arms Earned In Blood has come out and its time for cooljon to review the next game in the Brothers In Arms series. The game opening credits and the starting sequence is great. It reminds me of a film it was that good, actually it was the best better than some films. If you played the Brothers In Arms series then you will know that its about the exploits of the war. Though you don’t do it alone you have your willing group to help you. As I hinted up in the above paragraph, the game is a squad based shooter. You command your team to do certain actions. These things aren’t complicated things, though simplicity is the best and they are effective in dispatching. Your enemy is the Germans in this war. There are some basics things in completing the challenge. This is using your team to distract the enemy then you go in behind them and shoot them. The controls are easy to master with all the commands only using two or three buttons. The missions on offer are very hard. Well I played the game on medium and all aspects of the game were difficult apart from controlling your squad. The enemy are hard to kill from long range, Your health is quite limited, your squads health is quite low, the enemy AI is the best, the surround you, use cover. There are loads of cool features in Brothers In Arms Earned In Blood. Firstly there is a Story where you go through the stages of the game completing the main story modes. If you successfully complete a mission without having any causalities you will be rewarded for it. Then there are also the skirmish’s . What’s very unique about this is that you can choose which team your in and what character you can play. You play as a Germans defending a stronghold and as a American you have to attack. Also the multiplayer mode was very fun I had loads of fun with it. Though I don’t know what the online mode is but I read the book and it seems very cool. Though what really I don’t like is how you don’t even have an aiming cursor. The only way you can see if your aiming right if you go into first person. Though this does add realism into the game as in real life you don’t have a cross saying where your gun is pointing . Overall game play is supreme really puts you into the hear of the war. The graphics are sublime. They opening sequence reminds me as a very exceptional film. So throughout the game it doesn’t fail. With mud and blood splattering all on the screen, also with your team moving slickly. The gun fire and fight scenes are good and there is no grainy graphics throughout. The environments do get a bit samey but you are in mostly the same place all the time so what do you expect The sound to go with the visuals as supreme. It too, sounds like a beginning of a film. With grunts from the character when being shot, orders from you character and your team, this also applies to the German forces as well. Though what really is good that in the middle of it you stop and think back (as when you start you are reflecting back on what happened). Also gun fire and explosions perfected as well. I’m mostly impressed with Brothers In Arms Earned In Blood. Its realistic and portrays the war very well. With visuals, sound game play all combined into one making the best war game that I’ve seen it really is one of the must buys in the World War series. Another good game by
