I recently bought this game and had heard many good things about the franchise. However when I played it i was not very impressed. Your stuck on such a track that it is hard to really use much strategy with the squad you command, and there is not much reward for not having them killed. I did like the unique use of aiming in the game where you actually looked down the barrel instead of pointing permanent screen crosshairs like in most games, it added a better sense of realism, but that is about where it stopped for me. The story line was super crappy and bored me to death and the rewards you recieved were the terrible. Who actually assumes that outside of the production staff anyone honestly cares who did what. To be rewarded a picture of the concept team, is about as thrilling as a getting a book of carpet samples for Christmas. I have to admit i did not finish the game, because I found it too boring and dumb. And that takes alot for me, being someone who at one time played a little bit of International Barbie. Overall, if your new to WW2 games you might like this one, but it is not very inspired.
