It's not everything a tactical shooter should be... O.k., so maybe I am being too critical but there was a lot of hype associated with the release of this game. After just a few minutes playing, I was certain that you could write a better plot on the back of a postage stamp. All-in-all, though, Brute Force is an entertaining shooter that allows you take control of a small group of specialists as they proceed through a handful of various environments. The story is rather one-dimensional but does get challenging at times. You control one member of the group at a time but can shout orders to the others in the group - if you want. They handle themselves pretty well on their own. This eliminates any real need for the tactical element of gameplay. If you are looking for a shoot 'em up with a pretty good story, Brute Force delivers. If you are more interested in strategy, Brute Force may not be the game for you.
