I'm a sucker for mindless, balls out third person shooters, which means that I loved Brute Force. I really didn't care that you re-visited some of the levels, and the action got repetitive, because the action that is there is really good, in my opinion. Brute Force is a squad based third person shooter where you control one of 4 soldiers. There is the big white tough guy, the sassy black cyborg, the white chick, and the "walks on all fours lizard man." These characters each have unique abilities that add a nice element of strategy. The black girl uses a sniper rifle with incredible accuracy, the white girl can become invisible for a short time, the white dude can dish out and take a lot of damage, and the lizard man goes into this bezerk rage in which he can do great damage. Many times, I stopped and thought "maybe I should use stealth here", or "hmmm, using a sniper rifle might help". I really liked the diverse cast of characters. Graphically, Brute Force looks pretty nice. While there aren't a ton of different enemies, the ones that are there look really nice, as do all the levels. The CG cutscenes are also very good looking at well. Of all the bad things people could say about this game, I can't see how they could bash the graphics. The game sounds good too. Overall, if you like third person shooters like Freedom Fighters or Max Payne, then you should check out Brute Force, you won't be disappointed.
