Brute force is just an amazing game. The graphics are incredible, the AI is super smart, but none of these compare to the gameplay. The gameplay is very similar to that of Halo, Red Faction, and Frontline, except for the fact that it is in the 3rd person perspective as opposed to 1st person. The storyline pulls you right in and the action gobbles you up. Suffice to say - I have been gaming for over 15 years and I have owned every console. I currently own all three next-gen consoles (PS2, GC, and XBOX) and I can say that as far as action-adventure goes Brute Force is the best I have played (I can't believe I'm actually admitting this as I am an avid PS2 fan). There is no doubt that Microsoft have pulled themselves that much closer to the PS2 as a legitimate threat in the console wars. I hope the PS2 has something up their sleeves because Brute Force could be the K.O. Blow. If only it was XBOX Live enabled - what a wonderful world it would be.
