This game is awesome !! I don't understand how Gamespot gave this game such a low score. The reasons that were given were a little weak to me. How can you criticize a game for not having online play. Every game that comes out is not going to have online play. I liked this game way more than Timesplitters 2 and that received an 8.6 and I think that was mainly because it has online play. I don't have online play and don't really care about it. I have enough friends that if I want to play against or with a bunch of people I can. Also, comparing this game to Halo is unfair. Halo is on another level. Comparing Halo to any game is unfair. They are 2 different games. I loved both games equally but I understand the differences. I love games where you take control of a team. Matter of fact if you want to compare the 2 games I would take Tex, Brutus, Flint & Hawk over any of the marines in Halo. At least they're smarter. Master Chief would still kick their butts though. Ha ! Ha ! Bottom line this is a great game. The controls are easy. The team follows your command smoothly. I like the funny things they say to each other. The graphics are good they're not great but they're not bad. I've seen worse. It's just your basic shoot 'em up and ask questions later type game. Nothing wrong with that. Bottom line this game is a lot of fun and that's what it's all about, having fun. Sometimes everyone gets so caught up in comparing games and not letting a game stand on it's own. Microsoft never said this was a Halo beater. Everyone else hyped it up as being a Halo beater. Why does a game have to be a Halo beater. Instead of being the next Halo why can't it just be the first Brute Force. Anyway I expect many more sequels in the future for this one.
