Although the game is a fun, squad based shooter, it was once compared to Halo. How wrong that magazine was. I really like almost all shooting games, so I'm giving it a pretty high score. The squad-based element and the different abilities are fun and well-thought out. It is always fun to say, "I'm really good with this character." It gives different ways to get through the game. The controls were similar to Halo, which was good. Sometimes I pressed the wrong button, but not often. The graphics were also execellent, especially in the cutscenes. On the negative side, this game was not quite FPS, and not quite Squad-Based action. It was in the middle. Also, the enemies were repetitive and annoying, because the game expects you to kill every one of them to get a high-ranked medal on the level. The enemies teleport, or shoot you from a distance and then hide again. In real life, that's a good strategy. But this is a shooting game, and these guys are supposed to come close to us and not be wusses. On the topic of being repetitive, having more than one level on the same "planet" causes extremely boring levels. So, it was an OK game, but Halo remains at the top of my list for best FPS's of all time.
