A great game for any N64 archive.
User Rating: 7.3 | Buck Bumble N64
Buck Bumble is a game that has been very underappreciated and overlooked by most gamers. The game is not well known and most gamers that have played it bash it unmercifully. This game is a very good game though with a good replay value and some very fun multi-player maps. The weapons are have a massive sci-fi twist to them besides a few such as the Spike gun. The enemies are somewhat repetitive and can get very annoying at times, but this is made up in the fact that most of the common enemies that you face are relatively weak until the last few levels. There are some enemies that are basically juggernauts in this game unless you know the weak point and have one of the more accurate or powerful weapons. The multiplayer is very entertaining when you have just one friend around and it makes for a great way to spend time. Not all of the weapons are included in multi-player, but most of the very good ones are there. The maps and gametypes are a little shallow. Some of the game types include a mini-game where you and another player shoot around a giant soccer ball and attempt to get it into the other player's goal. There is also the traditional death-match mode.
Graphics wise this game is very good for the N64 though it could have been much better. The sound has a great effect on how the game plays, in other words it blends in very well with the game play. Overall, this is a great game with some areas that could have used some improvement, it still is an awesome game for any gamers collection though!
